Nothing negative to say, good location, good location, good staff
I spent a week there during the Christmas period and I was welcomed by smiling, caring people, who notably organized a common dinner the day before D-Day so that we could spend some time together in a good mood! The whole team is very friendly and attentive to us, not hesitating to chat about everything and nothing sometimes. I was in a room for 8 people and I never had the slightest problem, on the contrary I was able to meet people from all walks of life, each with original stories to share. In short, I highly recommend this hostel! :)
We only stayed there 3 nights but that was enough for us to realize how well located, well equipped (the bathrooms and toilets are perfect), and warm this hostel is, including a Netflix area. and Chill, great for meeting people.

Really does the job, the location is really good and the price is quite low. I recommend!
Shower a little less clean downstairs than upstairs but more than sufficient, very pleasant staff and comfortable bed
Dormitories with 20 mixed bunk beds with people of all ages. A pleasant experience. The people we met, whether in our dormitory or in the hostel, were friendly. The hostel upon arrival and departure was clean. Good welcome and friendly staff too. On the other hand, the corridor to go to the reception is small, which can make it difficult to move around with suitcases (depending on the time you arrive).
Very well placed. The breakfast at the top but the comfort is very basic. The walls facing the street are very thin. We could hear people whispering outside. Too noisy for me. The big highlight is that from this place all the endemic places of London are within walking distance.
This hostel is very well located, close to transport and the proximity to the British Museum offers a very quiet neighborhood in the evening. It is very good value for money for a student or for a first trip to London. I valid. Small flat for the cleanliness which is not always at the top due to the high frequentation of the hostel, but do not worry the cleaning service is on the job if necessary.
A very warm welcome in central London near the British Museum. Everything is nearby for sightseeing or going out! The staff is very friendly, giving you several ideas to organize your stay as well as possible. Rooms and beds are clean, I slept very well there. The room with TV and several services offered (Playstation, netflix, dvd etc) a plus!
perfect lovely staff, very friendly. Possibility to leave your luggage before check in and after check out in the closed "luggage room".
Everything was perfect, staff that adapts to the language level of tourists, hostel ideally located in London. Full breakfast. I recommend.
I stayed only one night so I didn't have the opportunity to really enjoy the ambiance of the hostel, but the guy from the reception was very nice and helpful, and the room was clean. I would come back without hesitation!
Well located, clean, functional
Excellent time spent in this hostel! The staff was super friendly and the place very well kept! The breakfast in the morning for £ 1 was full with bonus pancakes :) I recommend and will return!

Location
Location.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the facility was perfect for a hostel. Great atmosphere and good location. Super easy to find and close to many metro stations!
staffs were very friendly.
Nothing at all this was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in.
After reading previous reviews I was doubtful about staying here. The mention of horrible staff and rats kinda got me worried. However that was not the case at the Astor Museum Inn. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic, but exactly what you would expect. Anything you needed; locks, chargers etc was readily available and you were not charged, just had to leave a deposit! Highly recommend!!!
Location, location, location! Plus 1 pound breakfast was great (proceeds to charity). Was just cereal, yoghurt, spreads and toast but it did the trick. Walking distance to everywhere, close to underground stops, in a really wonderful area. Was a good ratio of guests to bathrooms, never had to wait for the shower or toilet.
Friendly stuff, wonderful position, good breakfast
Very nice place to stay, friendly staff, well located. Overall excellent experience
Fantastic location, staff were very friendly and helpful
beware this hostel does not take people over 35
My favorite address in London
The staff was super friendly all the time, they really care about helping you on how to get around london, seriously this was the best staff that I've seen in a hotel.
Excellent
In a great location, across the street from the British Museum, with easy access to the rest of Central London. Building has character, being a large, classic town house. Stayed there on two occasions, and both rooms I have stayed in have been very large with plenty of space and under bed storage.
Ideal for a London outing
Great hostel
Good atmosphere with a good location
Awesome staff, very helpful. Great location! Right next to the British Museum. The bed was comfy.
The staff were always available to help and communal areas were good for solo travellers.
Location was amazing! The staff was wonderful and the rooms were well kept and clean. Safety was great!
Clean, friendly and helpful staffmembers, reallly good location in central london!
very clean and very good stuff, breakfast on sunday was excellent
Nothing not to like! The only thing is room no 1 should have a heater cos its a bit cold at night. Other than that everything is awesome!!
It was really close to everything and there were basically all services you could think of needing during the trip.
